Baer’s Crest is seeking a skilled and dedicated financial controller to join our team and play a vital role in supporting our mission to provide stability, promote growth, and drive innovation in the world of payment processing solutions and financial services.
Your Responsibilities:
As the financial controller at Baer’s Crest, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing new off the shelf finance software and designing processes and controls around this.
- Recording and organizing financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
- Reconciling regulated client assets and safeguarded funds.
- Preparing financial reports, summaries, and analyses as required.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial information aligns with business operations.
- Providing financial data for tax returns and regulatory reporting purposes.
This Job is For You If You Have:
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices.
- Experience in management information reporting and finance analytics.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in maintaining a strong control environment, including controls over cash and reconciliation controls.
- Exposure to finance change projects an advantage
- Financial services experience and/or knowledge of client money reconciliations an advantage
- Effective communication skills, including with non-Finance colleagues and the ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work remotely, effectively
